Learn to Knit your own Jayne's Hat - date TBA
We'll have an old fashioned knitting bee (crocheting optional)
T-shirt Silk-screening shindig - date TBS
Submit designs and we'll select one for the next BC Browncoats t-shirt and then we'll make our own!
The Train Job - date TBA
We'll catch the sky train at Waterfront Station, head out to King George Station then come on back, stopping at every station along the way to gather up Browncoats. We can disembark at Metrotown and go the Crystal Court (chinese food) nearby for lunch. We should sing out loud - when we finish the Ballad of Serenity and the Hero of Canton, we can go on to OMWF and Dr. Horrible. Obviously we'll wear our Jayne's Hats.
We're contemplating having someone lowered onto the train from above.
Mostly, we are going to be rowdy and have fun!

SPECIAL GUEST - JEWEL STAITE ("Kaylee")
BC Browncoats hosted this 2nd annual charity event! Last year, 47 cities in five countries raised more than $69,000 for Joss's favourite charity; Equality Now, an organization that works to end violence and discrimination against women throughout the world. This year 44 cities in 10 countries have raised $107,856.44 (USD est) so far.
Our very own BDH, Jewel Staite (aka Kaylee) attended to draw names for the prize winners and to introduce the show.
Not only did she stay to watch the movie with us, but she mingled with flans for more than an hour afterwards, graciously signing autographs and having her picture taken. Check here for photos.
